After recently attending a virtual concert held by Jennifer Knapp, Nancy reflects on Jennifer’s impact on her life, both through her music and her role as a forerunner for those who have come out as queer while still heavily embedded in the Christian world. She recounts one particular instance back in the early 2000s when Nancy first tried coming out to someone in her community. In hindsight, she points out the overlap and small coincidences found in each of their coming out stories and expresses appreciation for the way that Jennifer's own courage helped spark courage in herself to start speaking her truth.
