For us, women talking about money is often a VERY awkward subject. We have been taught often that it is greedy to want it, to discuss how much we make, to ask for more of it. It is a very male-dominated area and we often feel 'stupid' trying to understand so we defer it to a man or even an advisor and put our head in the sand.
Sadly for some this strategy doesn't work out. Sometimes the person who looked after the money i.e. a husband passes away like in Anna Felix's case, a relationship breaks down, a war hits that drives the prices so high that it is a daily struggle for a household to float on one income anymore.
Our lives are often being controlled by limiting beliefs around money that were passed down from our parents who got it from their parents. As such many of us are living with belief's from the Great Depression or early 1900's.
