As indicated by the title, this piece (written in SATB) poses the question “Who is my neighbor?” This in turn leads to other questions. Ultimately, the questions being posed are as much for the singers are they are for the listeners.

There are two vocal lines to the piece: one sung by the Sopranos and Tenors, the other by the Altos and Basses.
