As someone whose mind seems to constantly run at a million miles an hour, trying to get it to slow down a little bit for a second, let alone for a few minutes has always been a challenge. It's why I've never been able to really meditate before.
But after a few months of practice, I can channel my thoughts much better and have started to feel the benefits of a little bit of daily calmness that comes from meditating.
