022: ADA Open Discussion: Bring Your Barriers Part 1
This week, we’re doing Part 1 of the ADA open discussion where we will be discussing all kinds of topics. In particular, it’s important to remember that the ADA only applies to public accommodations, not private housing, which still has to be accessible. But it’s subject to the provisions of the Fair Housing Act. Therefore, terms are important.
Joining us today are BlueDAG co-founders Paul Klein and Mark Wood, with over 50 years of experience in the field. We’re also joined by Victor Felix, BlueDAG's Director of Content and Compliance, and Joshua Hovinga, Chief Strategy Officer Chief.
On a side note, the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) had just announced COVID-19 is going to be considered a disability under the ADA in some circumstances, especially for people with prolonged effects.
