Welcome to Dan's Den podcast. This episode is part 2 of a conversation with my sister Hailey G., certified nursing assistant, med tech, and nursing student. We begin by discussing the importance of self-care, especially as a health care provider, and its' impact on our personal and professional interactions and relationships. We move on to some of Hailey's CNA experiences working with folks who have varying degrees of dementia and cognitive decline, and of course we talk some more about physical exercise and the World Health Organization's guidelines for maintaining and improving cardiovascular health and muscle strength and endurance. Hailey tells us about some of her experiences working with a professional mental health counselor, and then we chat a bit about comedy.
