In 2017, I ran a half marathon and I sucked so bad at it. I felt sick the entire time, but then I woke up the next morning with the most overwhelming sense of accomplishment and gratitude. How could I have felt this way if I had sucked so bad? I realized that it was never about the race, it was about the process. Later, this phrase, “trust the process” became a really important mantra that helped change my mindset and ease my anxiety throughout my struggles with an eating disorder. In this episode, I want to encourage you - whatever you’re going through - to trust the process.
