When we experience depression, anxiety, or any emotional state that feel uncomfortable, there’s a tendency to judge it, resist it, and try to make it go away – which actually leads to prolonging the suffering.

This episode is about seeing “negative” emotions in a completely different light than what society has taught us. I talk about my own experience hitting rock bottom with a debilitating depression many years ago, and how I’ve since learned to surf the waves of these periods of heaviness with acceptance and compassion.
