A healthy lifestyle is established in the home. Naturally, our habits are built upon the culture of those whom we live with, may the habits be fruitful or detrimental to our health. While the culture of my home growing up was not perfect, regular meal times, a balanced plate, and desserts at low frequency helped to instill habits that serve my health fruitfully today. Not to mention the value of exercise, beginning as a child and young adult in the form of athletics (organized sport) and continuing with fitness into adulthood.
Unfortunately, not every culture is as positive. In addition, as imperfect beings, we may depart from the ways that blessed us. The good news is, as adults, women on the move, whether single, married, or with growing families we can rebuild, improve, or maintain habits that will serve us a lifetime. Not to mention the generation to follow.
