What's in this episode?
Jess DuBose is a coach who helps women struggling with relationships to connect deeply with themselves so they can step into their power and stand in the highest versions of themselves.
Jess has helped dozens of women grow in their self-love, understand their worth, create boundaries, hold the vision for their dreams and more.
Today she talks to me about how the idea to write her book, I Don't Hate My Ex-Husband, emerged and the steps she took to make it a reality.
She set herself a deadline and once that happened time expanded and she made room in her life for the writing.
Despite building and running a business Jess used a mixture of typing and dictating the content to ensure she got her words down.
That mantra that helped Jess move past self doubt about her writing was 'This is for me'. Writing the book was for Jess and if anyone else benefitted, that was a bonus.
