On May 1, 1990, 16-year-old Billy Flynn and 17-year-old Patrick Randall broke in to Gregg Smart's condo. As Randall held a knife to the man's throat, Flynn fired a hollow-point bullet into his head, killing him. But there's only one person serving a life sentence for this murder-- Pam Smart. This week, Sarah takes us through this crazy story (our girl Pam is giving off some major middle-child energy, ya'll) and we take a side on the ethics of parole.
