He especially noted the example of Sts. Thomas More and John Fisher as Catholics who held fast to the teachings of the Church in spite of the costs. In the second part of the show, Dcn. Guadalupe Rodriguez called in from Austin where he is Associate Director of Formation in the Diaconal Ministry Office. Dcn. Rodriguez heads up Project Stephen, the diocese's official avenue for helping men to discern if they are called to the diaconate.
