EMILE’S BIO
Emile Blair Milgrim grew up in Miami, FL immersing herself in whatever music she could find, and spent the early 00s in Portland, OR - area codes 305 and 503, respectively. In Portland she played drums in basement bands and co-founded the record label, Other Electricities. In 2011 she returned to Miami where she still plays drums in bands (no basements), still runs Other Electricities, is Co-Owner and Music Buyer at Sweat Records, Co-Founder and former Co-Director of Miami Girls Rock Camp, and a long-standing curator at the International Noise Conference with the Apostrophe’s stage. Performance/soundmaking-wise she is currently one-sixth of Mr. Entertainment & The Pookiesmackers, one-fourth of Las Nubes, one-half of Archival Feedback, and one-whole of Brom Lee.
