026: 1739, Rebellion, and Drawing the Color Line

Listen Later

This episode covers two huge rebellions in American HIstory: Bacon's Rebellion of 1676 and the Stono Rebellion of 1739. These two rebellions were instrumental in spurring the changes that created division between white people and people of color.  Randi comes in with some levity with some fun facts about Nadir Shah and his many elephants.
