Today we are excited to bring you an interview with Dr. Nabeela Patail, Dr. Patail is a current Internist in NYC combining both research and patient care on her path to improve the lives of her patients. Dr. Patail did her internal medicine residency in NYC after graduating from St. George’s University in Granada with plans to do a fellowship in Oncology. Unique to many of our previous guests, Dr. Patail is married to a physician and current fellow who will be next week’s guest! Nabeela has a passion for giving back, helping premed students, traveling and staying physically and mentally fit. In this interview, we dive deep discussing her transition to a Caribbean medical school, her passion for oncology, why she thinks medicine is the greatest job, what medicine means to her, what it is like being married to a physician, and why she loves being out of residency.
