Ah, the holiday season… Filled with family, fun, festivities, and… sugar detoxes? Clean eating? Repenting for last night’s fried-appetizer-filled sins? If you get anxious about food during these next couple of weeks, you’re not alone. We used to be right there with you-- creeping on Instagram influencer’s workouts, baking those “healthier” holiday cookies and cakes (we’re looking at you, gluten-free cookie skillet), and just overall stressing about how this season was disrupting our routines. This season, though, we feel far from that. We’re more relaxed and have been genuinely celebrating the holidays with the people we love. In this episode, we share the mindset shift that got us here and why we’re skipping the pre-holidays detox or cleanse (and what we’re choosing to do instead). This year, we’re having our truly healthiest holiday season.

Question answered: Hey guys! Love your podcast and your positive influence! I’m personally having trouble ditching the idea of eating at certain times. I have this notion in my head that after I eat I meal I can’t be hungry and can only eat a number of hours afterwards. Any advice on how to ditch this mentality? I want to be ok with eating whenever I am hungry or want to but I’m so set on this imaginary eating schedule.
