Daniel 6:16-20
Today we start by clarifying that God does not overlook the sins of others merely because persecution is a necessary part of the Christian life. Although we are told to expect it, that does not excuse the wrongdoing of others. We also learn that Daniel’s choice to obey God rather than his earthly authority had the greatest influence on the king’s faith in God.
