028| Increase Your Authority with These Content Types

  1. I share with you the top 5 content types to help you increase your authority and be taken seriously online. This episode focuses on the how when it comes to communicating, not what you communicate. 
  2. The first content type I focused on is Lives where you get to share a real life moment with your audience. I mention that this should be treated as an evergreen content type that stays on your profile forever and always use the first few seconds to hook persons to watch the replay. I then went into how you can structure the live in 5 parts (Introduce energy, introduce topic, then introduce yourself, then go into the substance of the live and end with your specific call to action).
  3. The second content type I focused on is IGTVs between 1-3 minutes since this is a great type to educate and shift your audience's perspectives on specific topics. IGTV's are very binge able and a fast way for persons to get to know you and what you stand for. 
  4. The third type is repurposed tweets as they are easy to consume and create and it sends the message that you have something important or relevant to say. 
  5. The fourth type of content was professional branded photos with relevant captions. The branded photos helps to stop the scroll and the captions can incorporate storytelling to relate to your audience more. 
  6. The fifth and final content type is results and testimonials - This boosts your authority because it tells your audience that you're not full of fluff and that your service actually worked for others.
