This was a trend on TikTok, and I thought it would be a great way to breakdown five things from the top of my head that I wouldn't do as a speech-language pathologist, and more specifically, a pediatric speech-language pathologist mom. We talk about the what, why, and how-- what do we mean by sprinkling questions and commands around, why not use the wait and see method, how can we use "no" and "good job" more effectively, and other relatable and pertinent topics for parents, grandparents, educators, and aunts/uncles.
