Our departure day of leaving our home in Missouri to go out West to attend Overland Expo West 2018 is fast approaching. We've been busy preparing and planning.

With each trip we take, we get better at planning. When we go on these trips, we also take along our office so that we can work from practically anywhere. The challenge in the past was that Robert and I weren't always on the same page when it came to the timing of our work and travel time. 

This time we are trying something different. Instead of having a vague idea of our route, we've sketched it out on Google maps. Then we are breaking things down and writing out a rough daily itinerary.

Before we take off, it has been a priority to get new tires on the Jeep. After shopping locally, Robert ended up finding what he wanted on 4WD.com.
