This is the second part of our series on Preparing for Your Great Start in 2020! Habits comprise about 40% or so of our day. So it's important that we use those to help create those powerful routines for 2020. How do you view your goals?
In this episode, we look at four different lenses or perspectives to use as you define your goals for 2020. These four lenses will offer perspective as you consider your habits of action and habits of mind. It is important to consider that habits of mind include how you look at the world, your perspectives, and your mindset as you move forward with your planning.
Sometimes it is good to look at things in a different way from the past. This episode will help you do that with your goals for 2020. We will define the different types of work so that you can do the great work that can really transform you. We will also discuss prioritizing your commitments and recognizing the true sources of your energy. Leaders need to have space and time to develop themselves and others on their team or in their organizations, so it is important to allow energy to be used for those results. And are you making a difference in other areas of life other than personal achievement? This can lead to great amounts of success! As you listen to this episode, consider what will be your habits of mind and action for 2020?
We’ll dive deeper into these concepts:
This week, I encourage you to decide on your 5-7 big rocks for 2020, define your first 90-day plan, and then decide on the details for your weekly big three actions for January. And, if you’d like to be even more powerful, think about the three big actions you can do on a weekend in December and today’s big three. Head into 2020 with strength!
