Listen in as Nate interviews Mo on her running journey. She started with barely managing a 4km trail run and ended up running an ultra marathon in just 4 months of training. There were many lows, a few highs and lots of learning along the way. She talks motivation, training, food, what to look for in a first race, mental preparation, running with a buddy vs running alone and the importance of running your own race and having a mantra.
For those interested, the very beginner-friendly 50km race Mo ran on 5th May 2019 was St. Illtyd's Way Ultramarathon in South Wales organised by Nathan Flear. Definitely would recommend for anyone wanting to have a go at the sport.
