03: Leading with Positivity with Angela R. Gerald

Leadership doesn't always look the same for everyone, and it's not something everyone chooses (or feels called) to do. Leading does start with people though, because every person needs support. In today's episode, Angela R. Gerald shares her journey about becoming a leader in not only one, but multiple different roles. She's passionate about leading and helping people within her church ministry, as well as within her role as an executive assistant. She believes that people will do their best work and really shine when they're able to use their natural gifts. Tune in as Angela shares more about leading with positivity and putting people first, regardless of the type of setting you're in.

About Angela R. Gerald:

Angela R. Gerald (along with her husband, Darren), are the founders and pastors of Strong Tower Christian Church in Frederick, Maryland. Together, they shepherd a generationally and ethnically diverse congregation with a weekend attendance of over 250 people. Angela is a 1991 graduate of the Lee University Ministerial Internship Program. In 2008, she established Strong Tower's worship ministry and still leads the Women's ministry which is known for bringing women of all backgrounds and ages together to enjoy love, laughter, friendships and to experience life together.

She holds several certifications in communications and is a certified Life Coach through the Whole Heart Center in Frederick. Angela is also a contributing writer to the 2017 book, Permission to Win: A Daughter's Guide to Winning from the Inside Out. In addition to her service in the community, she is Executive Assistant at Aircraft Owners and Pilots Association, a national advocacy group for general aviation.
