This episode is specifically for the person who is creating content and it's not working.
If you are posting with no results, then this is what couldbe happening:
1. Topic – isn’tconnecting with your audience.
This will be evident by little to no engagement and honestlyit could just be topic that you like but one that your ideal audience doesn’tcare about.
So in my upcoming workshop Content to Clients, we are going to solve this by sharing where your best content ideas should come from andways for you to pull that out and put that into your content.
I’m not gonna leave you hanging so here is where your bestcontent ideas should come from – your client conversations, your livedexperiences, your offers itself and your clients wins and breakthroughs.
Many times once your content doesn’t fall within thesecategories, it means that it won’t connect with your audience and as a resultyour content won’t turn into new clients in your business.
2. Not saying the right things in your content
Another reason why your content may feel broken, even ifyou’re like yess Leeon I talk about these things is that you’re not saying theright things in your content.
Your content should include or relate to what your client’sproblems are. What their goals or desires are, what challenges they’re facingand how your offer is the bridge to help them get to their goals faster.
I’ve actually developed content formulas meaning step bystep guidelines for what to say in your content that I will be sharing in my upcoming workshop on January 24th.
3. Not saying the right things in the way they wantto hear it.
It could be that you know what to say in your content butfor a lot of you, especially my educated queens, you are using too much technical or industry words (words or phrases that only someone in your industry may know) and as a result you end up losing your audience since they are not people in your industry.
This happens a lot especially because we are so close to ourbusiness so its hard to see where or how you could be losing people.
This can be solved with simply getting another pair of eyeson your content to ensure that you are using language your clients will actually understand.
In the Content to Clients Workshop I’ll provide livefeedback on your mapped out content so you can leave with the confidence of knowing that the content you created will connect with your ideal clients.
4. Offer messaging
Let’s say you are doing everything right when it comes toyour content topics, saying the right things in your content and in the way it should be said… if the way you are communicating your offer isn’t strong enoughto encourage someone to take action then your content will feel like it isbroken.
A lot of persons make the critical mistake of promoting theprocess for their offer instead of the result or transformation.
So I’ll share what this may look like:
Promoting what they’ll learn vs what will change for them intheir life
Promoting a process or something that have to endure vspromoting the win or result.
What happens is as coaches or service providers we see theimportance of the process and we’re hoping that someone who isn’t even our client or isn’t even in our world also sees the importance of it and that’s quite unrealistic. This results in a disconnect between your content and your ideal audience.
And that is why your content feels broken.
The good news, you can still fix it.
