In this week’s podcast, Nikki Steele is here to share her story of becoming a Young Stroke Survivor in her 20’s. Through Nikki's story, we're going to dig into what happens when a person who seems fully recovered from a physical illness continues to live in a body and a soul that has been forever changed.
Nikki Steele lives in Charlotte, NC with her husband. She is an advocate for all things mental health-related, and loves working with kids of all ages! Nikki’s world flipped upside down when she unexpectedly took on the title of “Young Stroke Survivor” in her late twenties. Now, she finds purpose in sharing her story whenever and wherever she can, with the hope to bring a new perspective to those listening.

Welcome to the Wake Up Call Podcast with Alicia Hopkins (that’s me!). I work in corporate sales by day and am a personal development guru and Life Coach by night. My goal in this podcast is to share valuable and actionable tips on what I call the “Core Four” - mindfulness, movement, habits, and growth - so you can build a life that feels true to you. I will be interviewing people who have had a “wake up call” that their good-on-paper life wasn’t lighting them up, and what they did to change that. Join us every week for a new episode of the Wake Up Call Podcast with Alicia Hopkins!
