Ryan is originally from Canada & had the great pleasure of playing for his dad most of his baseball life with the Toronto Mets⚾️ As the big kid at a young age he found himself behind the plate often💪 and his dedication to the weight room really started to separate him from the pack in high school, ultimately earning him a spot behind the dish with Team Canada🇨🇦

The general furthered his baseball journey at Marshall University in West Virginia and shared what it means to him to see their beautiful new ballpark complete🤝 while at Marshall Ry was a staple in the line up and sharpened his tools + mobility to be a better option behind the plate🍽️ His hard work & dedication to the catching craft caught the eyes of Pro Scouts and Ryan was picked by the Cincinnati Reds in the 2019 MLB Draft🔴

Ryan is stoked heading into the 2024 season and looks to make a big impact at the minor league level both behind the plate & in the batters box💣 We can’t wait to follow the rest of his baseball journey🏆
