The real estate market was at its peak and his income skyrocketed. And, what he was used to making annually, he was now seeing monthly. And then, in 2008-2009, the economic bubble burst, and like many others, he found himself in trouble, resentful, and facing bankruptcy. On top of all of that, due to the scary reality of medical complications, he physically lost his voice.
