This week we are giving tribute to the late great Soul singer Otis Redding Jr. In the United States the month of February is Black History Month. All this month each episode of My Quest For Quotes will focus of someone that has had an impact of Black History. Although, we will try to focus on someone other than the usual individuals that we tend to think of when we think of Black History.

Otis Redding's life was cut short in a tragic plane crash on December 26th, 1967 at the age of 26. Unfortunately, only one passenger survived the crash of Otis Redding's private plane. Otis Redding's light did not shine long, but is shine very bright.
