IN THE NEWS:  Ikea adds plant based hot-dog to menu and customer are pumped.  Also, the latest in a series of lawsuits filed against kombucha brand Health-Ade challenging sugar and alcohol levels.

MAIN: The Mediterranean Diet.  Rich in vegetables, fruits, legumes and fish, with little red meat, and with most fat being monounsaturated and coming from olive oil and nuts, the Mediterranean diet has been promoted as one of the healthiest ways to eat. It also encompasses a vibrant way of living — cooking at home, enjoying family meals and being active.  

TRIVIA:  What the heck is corn?  Is it considered a grain or a vegetable.
