the words weed, cannabis, ganja, maryjane, etc. are SUCH taboo words to say out loud, or to write in nearly any capacity, + if you agree, I want to spend today's episode challenging you to ask yourself, "why, though?" I can only ever offer you my perspective on topics, + this one is no different, BUT, I'm uber passionate about this because it's something that has helped me grow as a person, + learn more about myself in nearly every way, while also helping me gain the peace of mind to help myself through my own struggles, rather than needing to depend on other humans, vices, or prescribed medications as often. as a near-twenty-eight year old, self-employed entrepreneur who's medicated for depression + ptsd, + also periodically takes an as-needed anti-anxiety medication, I feel like this conversation really creates a platform for me to dive into + speak from my own experiences. I've been a medical cannabis cardholder for 2+ years now, + use it regularly for both health + pleasure, so talking with you here about it really just feels like another extension of creating the conversation about ways cannabis can help you + me.

so, why weed? my question is, why not weed? why our other poisonous vices, instead of weed?
