FOCUS and the FOUR HORSEMEN

“And now dear brothers and sisters, one final thing. Fix your thoughts [FOCUS] on what is true, and honorable, and pure, and lovely, and admirable. Think about things that are excellent and worthy of praise.” PHIL4.8NLT

That is JESUS! FOCUS on HIM!

Perfect love in Jesus casts out ALL fear!

WHITE HORSE

He that sat on him had a bow; and a crown was given unto him: and he went forth

conquering and to conquer.

RED HORSE

And power was given to him that sat thereon to take peace from the earth, and that

they should kill one another: and there was given unto him a great sword.

BLACK HORSE

And I heard a voice from among the four living beings say, “A loaf of wheat bread or three loaves of barley will cost a day’s pay.[b] And don’t waste the olive oil and wine.

PALE GREEN HORSE

I looked up and saw a horse whose color was pale green. Its rider was named Death, and his companion was the Grave. These two were given authority over one-fourth of the earth, to kill with the sword and famine and disease and wild animals.

What should we do? FOCUS.

1. Snap Up

So be on your guard, not asleep like the others. Stay alert and be clearheaded.

2. Sober Up

But let us who live in the light be clearheaded, protected by the armor of faith and love…

3. Suit Up

...and wearing as our helmet the confidence of our salvation.

PRAY. PREPARE. PROTECT. PROCLAIM. PERSIST. PERSEVERE. PRAY AGAIN. PASS IT ON. POWER UP. POSITION PROPERLY. PAY ATTENTION. PRAY WITHOUT CEASING.
