Discipleship Conditioning

03.15.2023 2 Peter 1.10-11 Calling

Listen Later

Back in my secular days, I found it so difficult to discern my calling; and simply, that was because my life was void of Jesus. I was not asking our Creator for advice on how to conduct my life. I was not reading His word. I was focusing on self.

“Therefore, brothers, be all the more diligent to confirm your calling and election, for if you practice these qualities you will never fall. For in this way there will be richly provided for you an entrance into the eternal kingdom of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ” (ESV Bible, 2001, 2 Peter 1:10-11).

So, after years of fighting myself, I have surrendered to God and given my life to Him. Since, my life has been an abundantly pleasant experience, full of service to Him and His people.

We pray that our message today has encouraged you and that you will seek the Bible more fervently than ever. Blessing to you our brothers and sisters.

Stress is not the goal, be well.
