032: How to Live a Life UnScared with Scott Simons

Listen Later

“I can't live in this dark side where I'm out to prove everybody wrong. I want to prove to the people that I have always been there right.” -Scott Simons

We are so busy in our daily lives that we never take the time to do what we really want to do. We just accept a regular life in the “safety” of what’s familiar to us and settle for less than what our potential is. But life doesn't have to be like this.

This week, we are talking about what it’s like to live in a world where we are not scared of "what ifs". Breakfast of Champions Co-Host, Scott Simons was raised by parents who lived through the Great Depression, where scarcity mindset is a dangerous trap. But Scott was determined to follow his dream- owning his own car dealership.

Listen in as Bruce and Scott discuss what it takes to live a life unscared. They also talk about how to get over the feeling that you are not ever going to amount to something, how to increase your income, what you need to move forward, and once you’re successful, how to pay it forward.

You’re the only person who can determine how you live your life. Choose your own adventures, design your own path, and decide how you want to live. Don’t be afraid to take chances — chances are, these opportunities will lead you to a place that doesn’t exist if they never came along.
