In this week’s episode of The Bottom Line on KCLR John Purcell is joined by Alan Quirke, Director of Ireland South East to discuss the recent Financial Times fDi rankings for 2020/21. The rankings showed that Ireland South East is now recognised as a region for the future.  

We continue to examine the options available for more sustainable living, over the last number of weeks we’ve spoken about electric vehicles, we heard from an award winning green energy solutions company on how they are helping organisations change to their lower carbon footprint and this week we hear from, Robert Goss, Director at Solar Electric who talks about Solar Energy in commercial and residential settings.

Local Enterprise Week 2020 kicks off next week with lots of events planned for Carlow and Kilkenny. Kieran Comerford, Head of Enterprise with Carlow Local Enterprise Office, spoke to John about what Local Enterprise week is all about as well as what events are planned for Carlow.
