Beatbot Bounce is primarily composed of a techno genre I call bouncetek – harder than any form of tech or progressive house, too melodically complex and layered for deep techno, too house-like for bouncy techno. It’s a sound that’s always been around in a small amount but lately has gotten much more common. Certainly enough to fill a new sub-genre bucket in my opinion.
