Whether it's a field trip or a band rehearsal, sometimes we find ourselves with only a few kids sitting in our classroom. This has happened to me quite a bit, back when I taught in a school where the kids went on field trips ALL THE TIME. Now that I have quite a bit of expertise in this area, I have some tips on what to do when most of your class is absent.
