In this episode we interview Harry S. Campbell, businessman, author, speaker, and investor about his third book, Get-Real Mindset. As a former executive at Sprint, Embarq, and Durrie Vision, Harry has deep experience in creating and developing leadership and culture within the corporate environment. After writing two business related books, Harry felt the need to write a third book that could apply to personal life, in addition to business. 

Harry’s Why:
Harry’s sense of purpose is to support his wife, who has an inoperable brain tumor. To support her, he gives 100 percent of his gross public speaking fees to Head for the Cure, a local Kansas City organization that raises awareness and funding to inspire hope for the community of brain cancer patients, their families, friends, and caregivers. 

Overview of the Get Real Mindset:

1. Be an attractor - be someone who someone else wants to be around. Create strong relationships, because life and business is won at the margins. 
2. Embrace crookedness - don’t get paralyzed by changing plans. Lean into the changes and pivot on the fly. You can only control how you react. Be resilient. 
3. Live to learn - always be curious and have peripheral vision to implement new ideas in your career or business.
