In Psalm 13, David cries out to God, "Turn and answer me, O Lord my God! Restore the sparkle to my eyes, or I will die." Kind of intense! And yet, very real and honest to where we can feel we are sometimes. It's difficult to be in a place where you don't feel that sparkle and can lead to a similar cry of, "God restore me!"
