Rory Mele is an Associate Safety Professional, Construction Health and Safety Technician, and a Human Resources and Public Affairs Officer in the Army National Guard.
He is the Director of Environmental Health and Safety at BHI, a general contractor out of Vernal, Utah, with offices throughout the United States, and a detachment commander in the 640th Regiment Regional Training Institute of the Utah Army National Guard.
Rory received a Bachelor of Science in Communications with an emphasis on Public Relations from Southern Utah University. He will graduate from Eastern Kentucky University with a Safety, Security, and Emergency Management Master of Science in May of 2023. Rory is a lifelong student and believes that education is important and that it comes in different ways. Trade schools, undergraduate and graduate level programs, and certificate courses should all be valued paths to education.
