035 - Re-Thinking Professional Development: How a Virtual Lounge is Helping Faculty Stay Connected

Listen Later

035 - In this episode of the Lecture Breakers podcast, Dr. Suzanne Ehrlich joins us to talk about how she helped create a virtual faculty lounge to help educators stay connected and share ideas. We discuss how it’s structured, where the idea came from, and the future of faculty development, especially in this time of so many uncertainties. Suzanne also shares a couple of ways she breaks up her lectures which can work in any learning environment. The empathy mapping exercise is one I think is very timely given everything that’s happening in the world right now.
