Jason Satterlund is an award-winning director and writer who is passionate about telling stories. Over the past 25 years, he has honed a talent for directing authentic, emotionally compelling performances. His filmmaking displays a strong visual style that carries audiences on emotional journeys. His latest feature film, “The Abandon,” won multiple awards on the film festival circuit and secured theatrical distribution through Lionsgate. He works all over the world writing and directing feature films, shorts, TV series, immersive entertainment, music videos, commercials, and documentaries, and has received international recognition. He has written and directed over 25 episodes of television, run writer’s rooms, and crafted shows for clients from the ground up. When he isn't busy directing his own projects, he enjoys teaching filmmaking workshops, shaping the filmmakers of the future.
