Walk Through Grief with Grace

037: Facing Death with Arms Wide Open and Anticipatory Grief with Tina Hong

Listen Later

Especially in Western culture, death is something we fear and try our very best to have control over. Executive Health Coach and NLP Practitioner Tina Hong joins Jenn in this episode to share the moving story of how her father, after a ten year journey with stage four bile duct cancer, opened himself up to death with tears, laughter, and arms wide open. Tina shares about the challenges of being a caretaker, the weight of anticipatory grief, and how she learned to be present and welcome in gratitude when faced with that thin line before life and death. Listen to Tina’s story about how she became a champion of uncertainty and building resilience, and how her experiences and growth allow her to help clients to move out of overwhelm and anxiety.
