The Paradox of Perfection: How Embracing Our Imperfection Perfects Us by Jeffrey Reber PhD LPC, and Steven Moody LCSW
Also mentioned in this episode: The Jesus Storybook Bible by Sally Lloyd-Jones
God doesn’t call us to our idea of perfection, because in Christ we are already made perfect through his sacrifice.
We are not capable of perfect action or perfect thought.
When Jesus tells us to be perfect as God is perfect he’s not talking about actions and he’s not talking about thoughts because perfection there is not attainable. But His love, His perfect love, IS accessible. It is attainable. And it is shareable.
