As Fearless Mothers of Faith we want our children to understand their own self worth and who they are in the eyes of their Heavenly Father. We want them to have the spiritual confidence they need to stand up for truth and right. We want them to have the power they need to resist temptation and make good choices.
What can we as intentional parents do to help our children develop that sense of self worth, or access that spiritual power they so desperately need?
In today’s episode, Linsey and I share the results of a research study (https://www.churchofjesuschrist.org/study/ensign/2006/02/helping-children-develop-feelings-of-self-worth?lang=eng) done by two BYU professors who found that those youth who were spiritually confident, had several things in common, including parents who did two specific things to help them develop that sense of self worth.
Join us today as we discover what we as Fearless Mothers of Faith can do to help build that spiritual confidence in our children.
