039. Why I Stopped Consuming the News, as a Podcaster

Do you get ready in the morning with TV news in the background? Commute to work listening to news podcasts? Go to bed at night swiping the news before bed?

Consuming all that news could be harmful for your mental health (and that may be no surprise). But did you know that it could also subconsciously harm your Voice, your message, and your greater podcasting efforts?

Today I'm elaborating on why I made the conscious decision to stop consuming the news. And, I'm offering three Straight-Talk Actionables to help you consider your relationship to traditional news media and your mental hygiene – especially when you have a far-reaching platform such as a podcast.
