Monica Leon: I have no idea what to ask, but I want to check in and share the progress, the ups and downs of our last conversations we had related to health and exercise habits. Also, could we talk a bit about Instagram? I have a feeling that this app is adding unnecessary pressure.

  • Shift the conversation from habits and systems to mindset and perspective. Focus less on fixing routines and more on accepting where you are now versus where you think you should be.
  • Replace “I should be here” with “this is where I am.” Build from your current baseline that you can control.
  • Catch the “should” language. Approach it with a growth mindset by catching something that you learned about yourself and how you will reorganize your energy next time.
  • Treat every setback as evidence, not failure. Use what drained you to redesign your calendar, workouts, and social life with intention.
  • Build a habit of review and reflection. Look back and acknowledge how far you have come instead of only tracking what you missed.
