“Anakula actually originated from a Filipino word, which translates to ‘captain of a ship’ in English. So, the organization believes that as members of the youth, each one is a captain of a collective ship and as our members progress in their journey, we hope that the organization can incubate its project to become long-term and independent in order to build and be part of a more fair society.”
