We're in Moroni Chapter 7 talking about how the Lord invites us to discern using the Light of Christ that which is GODLY and that which is Evil. 

The word "good" is used throughout this chapter; however, we have to recognize how Good is defined. Mark 10:18. Good means "of God" or "Godly." It doesn't mean what we have come to accept the word Good to mean in the english language, which is somewhere smack dab in the middle of this spectrum.

Amazing, Excellent, Great, Good, Average, Poor, Terrible

If our desire is to strengthen our faith and behold the mighty miracles he has, we get to lay hold upon every GODLY thing.
