It was in visiting a psychology class with her mother, Kaye Loni became fascinated with mental health and developed a heart for helping others. Some call-outs from the episode include: her experience of dating another female and her journey with epilepsy. She has accomplishments such as developing a psycho-educational group to help others, essentially building a crisis line from the ground up, obtaining her master's degree online and then earning her Marriage and Family Therapy License.
