Today we have a very special guest, special for a number of reasons, Dennis Armfield is our guest today and in addition to that he is also the cover feature for the first ever Quartic eMagazine set to be launched at the end of January! Very excited to be sharing this with you.   Dennis is one of the most passionate people I have ever had the pleasure of meeting, he genuinely believes in helping others, he does that through his life mantra 'Live to Give'. Dennis spent 10 seasons with the Carlton FC playing 145 games and became a cult figure at the Club popular with fans due to the effort he put in to connect with them. Dennis is so much more than a footballer, he is passionate about giving back and this is evidenced by winning the 2015 Jim Stynes Community Award for his work with Odyssey House, helping those going through the struggle of addiction.    During this conversation we begin with being drafted into the AFL System, what it is like to be an elite athlete and the transition into the 'real world' and the challenges of life after football and briefly his current focus working no a Mens Business Fight Club, I thoroughly enjoyed catching up with Dennis and hope you enjoy the show.
